I have an exciting announcement to make. I’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately because I’ve been working hard serving my clients, facilitating distance learning with my beautiful children, AND working on a couple of exciting new things behind the scenes. Here is one of them…
If you are receiving this email, you know either one of my two brands. For five-plus years, I’ve run Erreco Strategies, which is a one-on-one marketing consulting firm. Marketing Simplified is the brand I use for all of my coaching and training. I’m now pleased to announce that I’ve simplified my brand, and now everything is under one virtual roof. In fact, Marketing Simplified, LLC, is now my new business name. Please take a look around at my Marketing Simplified website when you get a chance. It’s changed quite a bit to combine all of my services including one-on-one consulting.
You’ll notice I’ve added a “marketing audit” service which I’ve pilot tested with several business owners over the past few months. It’s an efficient way to get a robust snapshot of how your marketing is currently performing for your business and what next steps would be most effective in propagating your growth.
Before I go, I’d like to acknowledge how trying the past special months have been for so many of us. When I run across a picture of something I did in January or February I marvel over how different life was “back then.” Can you believe we used to shake hands, eat at buffets, have large meetings and conventions, and even… hug friends? In fact, right before everything changed, I attended a conference which involved all of those things. It’s true what our mothers told us… change can happen in an instant.
While my business has survived the pandemic so far, some of it looks pretty different. For example, in-person workshops and trainings used to be one of my favorite things to do. Now, they are all virtual, and many have been focused on key ways to keep your marketing updated and amplified during hard times.
My days have also changed. I used to work a traditional workday, but then when schools closed, it wasn’t out of the ordinary to be teaching my kids reading at 1 p.m., and catching up on my own work at 1 a.m. One thing that really broke my heart was the many “close” or “pause” business statements I wrote on behalf of my incredibly resilient clients.
As we all continue to navigate through these times, please know I am thinking about you and the challenges you face. I have no doubt we will come out stronger… even when things seem as hard as they could ever get.
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to being in touch again soon. I will always have a soft spot for the Erreco Strategies brand and those early days pounding the pavement, but as my business has gotten broader and fuller, my brand needed a bit of an upgrade, too. As a bonus, I love the simplicity of one brand… after all, if you know me, I am all about simplicity and the clearest path to growth.
