Last week I shared with you how effective email marketing can be for your organization. This week, we’re going to take it up a notch.
You made some very powerful posts this week and built highly effective digital infrastructure. In this week’s email, I want you to highlight that as much as possible.
First, open with your throwback Thursday post. Let people know that you are missing them and you can’t wait to see them again when it is safe to do so. Make sure they feel the same hope you gave them in yesterday’s post.
Then, tell them you have a video that you want to make sure they see. Describe what it’s about and link to YouTube, your blog, or the original Facebook post.
Finally, let folks know how much you love serving them through your organization and that you were flattered to receive the following testimonial during these harder times. Then, share the testimonial you posted on Wednesday.
Close your email by reminding people how you are doing business right now (i.e. maybe you are still open for takeout or appointments by Zoom) and then let them know that you’ll drop in their inbox with updates again next week.
When you finish the email, make a post similar to last Friday’s where you drove people to check their email via social media or sign up if they weren’t already on your list.
